Marine Forecast valid from 18/05/2026 to 19/05/2026
...CARIBBEAN SEA & LOCAL REGION...
Local forecast:
No significant changes made to the forecast.
The strong Atlantic high pressure system will
still support breezy conditions, with strong
to near gale force winds in gusts. Shallow
moisture in the lower layers will restrict
the development of significant cloudiness.
Generally dry weather is therefore expected
during this forecast period.
Moreover, a slight to moderate concentration
of Saharan Dust will linger for the next day
or two, making for hazy skies.
Smooth to slight seas are noted on the protected
south sections. Slight to moderate seas are noted
on the exposed south sides. Moderate to locally
fairly rough seas are noted over the east to
northwest coastal waters.
